Sultan Rossellas Dam
The Sultan Rousseille Dam Project is located in the town of Rousles in Damazin, in the Danish River, Sudan. The dam was built in the 1960s and is dominated by power generation and irrigation. The Rousseille dam is 25.1 km long and is currently the world's longest earth-rock dam. It stores the water of the Blue Nile River upstream to irrigate the vast land between Rousse and Khartoum.
